Event Update

GovHack Canberra has sold out! As we are sold out we cannot take any registrations at the door.

We are looking forward to seeing all pre-registered attendees for the launch on Friday night from 6:00pm.

The Snow Centre is an accessible building for wheelchairs, including a lift to access upper levels of the building.

GovHack Canberra is an alcohol-free event. We are a boarding school with both students and staff living on campus. No alcohol will be served at GovHack Canberra and please do not bring any alcohol to the event or on campus.

Canberra Grammar School is a non-smoking campus. Please refrain from smoking while on school grounds.

Under 18:
We welcome youth competitors at this event. However, youth competitors must always be supervised by a parent or suitable guardian while at the event. GovHack does not accept any responsibility for youth competitors at the event. Supervising parents and guardians need to register for the event as an observer.


Plenty of parking is available in the school main carpark, accessible off Monaro Crescent. It is then a very short walk to the Snow Centre.

Note that on Saturday morning the school ovals are often used for sport, so we suggest that you arrive early to get a car park. Sport is usually concluded by early afternoon.

Public transport:
There is a bus stop on Golden Grove, a very short walk from the Snow Centre. Check the ACTION website for bus timetables.
